We stayed a week at Baite di Pra. We wanted a quiet base from which to explore Adamello - Brenta Nature Park. This small lodge has a few rooms facing a roaring river. It’s wonderful to always hear it. It’s great to be away from the crowds by Pinzolo, and tucked away in this beautiful, higher valley. My husband and I have spent 8 summers traveling and hiking all over the Alps. This place is one of the most special because it’s not in a village or town, it is directly beside the river, and you are served delicious meals at the property. All for a reasonable price.
The bed was very comfortable: supportive but also soft enough for you to sink in a little.
We had dinners with them every night. With their goal of serving local specialties and using local food sources, their chef does a superb job of offering a wide variety. For their set price, you get two starters, two first courses, one main course and a dessert. Portions are large, so you’ll want to be hiking most days to feel your body can use all this dinner.
Leonardo and Beatrice are very kind, and went out of their way to assist us in several ways. You can also ask them for recommendations for hiking trails or sightseeing.
If you’re an experienced hiker and fit, be sure to drive into Val Genova, and hike from Refugio Bedole up to Refugio Mandrone.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin und super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück und Abendessen reichlich und ein Genuss. Großer gepflegter Aussenbereich, besonders schön ist die große Terrasse am Fluss, die den Hausgästen zur Verfügung steht. Die Lage ist ruhig und prima als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Wir haben sogar noch eine Nacht verlängert. Wunderbar!

Flot beliggenhed. Dejligt natur og bjerge.
Morgenmad utrolig kedelig. Forskellen om morgenen var kun de 5 dage....at man havde byttet om på ost og skinke. Samme brød som man fik om aftenen. Den sidste dag ønskede min kone ikke at komme til morgenmad. Lidt svær meny system, men da vi fik en forret,,,,,et stykke lille toast......lidt overskårne cherry tomater...lidt ost.......10 euro.........vi fandt et fint sted at spise til meget fornuftige priser. Så kunne vi heller ikke have dialog med hende der stod for morgenmad og aftensmad. Hun kunne kun Italiensk. Det kan vi ikke.
