- Perfect location, within walking distance to the beach (although we'd recommend ones out of town instead), and shops/restaurants. There is a really good gelato place 2 min walk down the main street!
- The bed and pillows were very very comfortable, perfectly to our liking, we slept very well.
- The veranda is equipped with a little table & chairs, and lounging chairs, which were really comfortable.
- The host was really helpful - when we had an issue he was readily available and replied to our messages promptly. He also explained the ZTL rules to us, provided us with recommendations for the town and beaches.
- Free parking directly outside of the apartment when the ZTL is not active (during the day). The host also provided, included in the cost of booking, a space in a secure parking garage which was a 5 minute walk from the property and which was very appreciated.
- If we were coming back to CdG, we'd happily return here.
- Communal laundry room - bring your own detergent.
- While we did manage to cook basic meals in the kitchen, it was a little undersupplied, and would be inconvient for longer stays than ours (3 days), e.g. there was only one kitchen knife.
- There is a rack to dry laundry hung over the balcony, but in reality it is ineffecient; if your laundry falls, it can't be recovered. There were only 2 pegs as well - we looked around and couldn't find any more.

What a great property. Views over the marina from the balcony are incredible. One of the best bathrooms on our travels we have ever had- shelving around the room including the shower meaning storage was a dream. In the middle of town and with a host who was incredibly responsive .

Lovely apartment with an amazing view from the balcony, right in the centre of Castellammare del Golfo.
There is nothing we didn’t like. Everything was great.
