We absolutely loved our stay at VillaCore. The location is fantastic, on Via Tragara, one of the most beautiful and charming areas in Capri, close to some of the best spots on the island.
At first, we were a little surprised by the stairs and the walking required to get there, but that is very much part of Capri itself — narrow streets, steps and pedestrian paths are part of the experience.
Our room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable, with an incredible view. Waking up and looking out at the Faraglioni from our window was unforgettable. The view is truly stunning and gives the hotel a very special atmosphere.
VillaCore is a small, intimate and very personal property, and that is part of its charm. Francesco was wonderful — extremely welcoming, kind and helpful, always happy to give us recommendations and make sure we enjoyed our time in Capri.
For us, this was much more than just a hotel stay. It really captured the atmosphere of Capri: beautiful, intimate, relaxed and special.
