It was so peaceful and cozy. We loved being up the valley, watching nature from our balcony with the sound of the stream below. The room was comfortable and warm, which was appreciated in the cold weather. There was a large ( inside and outside) dining area and kitchen was very well equipped with everything needed to self-cater. The owners are friendly and helpful
The steps down to room are steep with a case, which is important to know if knees are an issue

The house is perched on a hillside in a lush, subalpine valley. The street is mostly other guest houses, but when we stayed, in mid June, it was all extremely quiet. We watched an amazing thunderstorm from the balcony at night. The beds were very comfortable and it's all very quiet indeed, so that's a big plus. The Bulgarian hosts are both fluent Spanish speakers (no English) and were very helpful with local tips and advice. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio, looking at the immense woods on the hilside opposite and watching the local birdlife.
