The downstairs area was very comfortable although you can hear any noise from the street, which thankfully is mainly very quiet. Liked the code access to the property so no key requirement. Cava in the fridge on arrival a nice touch. We slept well in comfortable beds.
The stairs are narrow and a bit slippery so we were very safety conscious when going up and down and we are by no means elderly so wouldn’t be suitable for everyone. Access to the top floor is a bit bizarre, with an open door on the floor held open by a counterweight mechanism. It leaves an unprotected gap in the floor when left open! As previous guests have said, somewhere to hang towels in the main bathroom would have been good, and we failed to work out the heating. There is also no privacy door or screening to the en suite which could easily be rectified but has not been addressed. Lighting in the main bedroom is also very dim. Fridge opens the wrong way which makes it awkward to access as it’s up against a wall. Niggly things but they all added up!
