Incredible host, beautiful apartment, fantastic location

Jakov was the most amazing host you could wish for. We had added our daughter as an additional guest right at the last minute and this was not a problem at all. Our flight had been delayed for an hour and after a fraught period at the airport trying to secure our car hire at Split airport, we didn't get to the apartment until after midnight. Jakov stayed up especially to greet us with his lovely dog Ricky and made sure that we settled into the apartment before he left. The apartment was clean and spacious and the pool was brilliant. The only issue we had was problems connecting to the internet, but Jakov went out of his way to sort this out for us, even giving us copious amounts of his fabulous home made red wine to make up for the inconvenience! The location of the apartment halfway up the mountainside offered the most amazing views to the coast. The area was quiet and quite remote with quite steep access from below. There were excellent walking trails immediately from the apartment across the Biokovo mountains to get to the centre of Makarska within 25 minutes in one direction or Tucepi in the other. The scenery in this part of the Dalmation coast is stunning. One highlight was hiring bikes from a fabulous family run bike hire place in Masarska and cycling along the coastal trails as far as the beaches in Podgora. All in all a fantastic experience and a big thank you to Jakov and his family for helping to make it more special.

Amazing!

This place is amazing. Much better than on pictures, we were amazed how nice it was. Owners are super nic and very helpful. Place is clean, quiet, new and with smells of Croatian nature with great views of mountains and sea. We have been in Makarska 6 times in different places and this one was absolutelly the best. Excellent for families with children. We will be back 100%!

Exceptional

The host was very warm and wellcoming. The place is very calm and in the magic place in the front of the mountains. Near to the house is an old castle and botanic garden. Our kids spend time in the pool, had short excurtion to the mountains. Far away from appartments are a few wonderful beaches. We spent time in the back yeard and in the terrase, did some grilling in a very good fire place. We spend time here very good and I strongly recommend this place and this hosts.

It's a piece of heaven above Makarska

I love: the peaceful location, the view to the riviera and the mountains, the private pool, the great equipped kitchen and last but not least the hospitality of the superb hosts. It was such a lovely time to be there so I gonna be back soon.
