★★★★★ Ein ganz besonderer Ort mit Herz und Seele
Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Locanda del Pittore in Arcumeggia verbracht – und waren begeistert. Schon der Ort selbst ist etwas Besonderes: ein kleines, historisches Bergdorf voller Kunst und Kultur, fernab vom üblichen Tourismus. Dazu dieser wunderschöne Blick über das Tal – einfach traumhaft.
Die Locanda passt perfekt zu diesem besonderen Ambiente. Überall spürt man Kunst, Geschichte und Persönlichkeit. Nichts wirkt austauschbar oder wie ein gewöhnliches Hotel. Hier steckt Herz und Seele in jedem Detail.
Dazu kommt das hervorragende Essen und ein unglaublich freundlicher und herzlicher Gastgeber, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Es ist diese Mischung aus italienischem Charme, Kultur, Ruhe und Gastfreundschaft, die den Aufenthalt so besonders macht.
Ein Ort, den man nicht einfach nur besucht, sondern erlebt. Wer das authentische Italien sucht und Orte liebt, die noch ihren eigenen Charakter haben, sollte unbedingt hierher kommen.
Ein echtes Kleinod im Herzen Italiens – anders als viele andere und gerade deshalb so empfehlenswert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

There are places you visit, and there are places that stay with you long after you’ve left. This is one of them.
From the moment we arrived, Alfonso made us feel genuinely welcome. He is not just the owner he is the heart and soul of this place. Charming, kind, attentive, and a true host who welcomes every guest with warmth and sincerity. His calm presence creates an atmosphere where you instantly slow down and simply enjoy the moment.
The food deserves every compliment imaginable. Every dish is prepared with care, passion, and authentic flavors. Without exaggeration, it was some of the best food we had during our trip.
The location is breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the surroundings are incredibly peaceful, and if you’re looking for a place to truly unwind, this is it. Everything was also spotless and beautifully maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Without any doubt, this is a place you should experience at least once. Alfonso’s hospitality, the outstanding food, and the beauty of this location completely stole my heart.
One small tip for future visitors: if possible, arrive during daylight. The roads can be a little challenging to drive in the dark, but once you get there, you’ll realize it was absolutely worth the journey.
