I loved the ocean access from the pool. The pool was the perfect temperature and location to watch the sunset. I loved the hammock on the balcony it was perfect to take a nap.
I didnt like that some of the hotel guests were smoking by the pool area. I would think that a wellness hotel wouldnt allow smoking or vaping on the property. Maybe on the balcony of your hotel room but no in the open community area.

O local é fantástico e muito bonito. O staff é excecional e super simpáticos e atenciosos. O restaurante do local é muito bom e varia todos os dias o que permite uma grande variedade de refeições. A piscina é vista mar e tem acessibilidade ao mar. Os quartos têm ar condicionado permitindo noites frescas (uma vez que no exterior é muito quente) e têm varanda vista mar.
A existência de várias formigas na cama quando chegamos e ao longo da nossa estadia e de outros pequenos bichos que fomos detetando. Acreditamos que seja apenas pela humidade do local e não por falta de limpeza, uma vez que era notória a existência de limpeza por parte do staff diariamente no quarto, até pelo agradável aroma que ficava.
Detetamos ainda a existência de várias baratas depois do anoitecer, no exterior dos quartos, o que não nos permitiu usufruiu na plenitude da varanda. assumimos também ser da humidade existente no exterior e do calor, o que dificulta a exterminação destes seres, uma vez que todos os locais estavam limpos e sem qualquer tipo de lixo. Apesar disso, soubemos também que no dia da nossa saída, ia decorrer uma desinfeção, o que mostra que apesar de tudo, o staff está atento a estas situações.

King Fisher Village is nicely located about 1km outside of Tarrafal city, at an atmospheric beach section. The hotel offers spacious rooms, partly combined with a separate kitchen which can be reached over the balcony. The rooms and the kitchen are generally well equipped, and the location is suitable to relax for a while. There is also a small pool next to the beach and the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast seved at the restaurant is decent.
Since there is only a rocky beach next to the hotel, access to the sea is only possible over a rather uncomfortable ladder. So you hardly get to see people swimming there. To get to Tarrafal's main (sandy) beach, it is either necessary to take a car/taxi or to walk which takes approx. 20 minutes. The hotel's pool area is also a bit narrow.
The room's facilities seemed partially a bit outdated, and Wifi was very weak and sometimes not working in my room.
