The location was perfect, in the quiet village of Sao Vicente. Frederick was the finest host, providing all relevant information about local facilities.

Sao Vicente is a very nice place, great base for exploring the north of Madeira. The host Frederic is very nice and helpful and gave us good advices for the trails. The price is very economic.
The room was humid and my wife did not feel well in it. The outdoor kitchen-terrace has only a fridge, hot water boiler, and a microwave but practically no plates, or other dishes, we just got a couple of those from the host. It is very simple. The sign says 'forbidden to cook' which is inconvenient given that the accommodation does not provide breakfast nor dinner.
