I was looking for a place close to the city center, but still somewhere peaceful and quiet. It was important to me to wake up to birds singing rather than hearing cars and street noise through the windows.
I was very lucky to find Guesthouse Gegi, because it was exactly what I was looking for. It’s a small guesthouse with only 3–4 rooms, which makes it feel especially cozy, calm, and private. The house itself is an authentic Kutaisi house with a lovely garden, and you quickly start to feel as if you’re staying in your own home rather than at a hotel.
The host is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive.
Overall, for the price, the guesthouse offers very good conditions. I was genuinely happy with my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Jubi was a great host! We had a wonderful time. He picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with homemade wine. The guesthouse is up a hill, a short walk from the center but Jubi even offered to pick us up from down the hill any time we came back from the city so we didn't have to walk up. He also brought us to our next accommodation in Kinchkha for a very fair price. I cannot recommend this guesthouse more, their hospitality is just impeccable!

Больше, чем гостевой дом — здесь вы встретите настоящего друга! Если бы можно было поставить 100 баллов из 10, мы бы это сделали. Наше пребывание в Кутаиси стало особенным благодаря хозяину по имени Джуба. Это человек невероятной души! Всё началось с гостеприимной встречи в аэропорту, а закончилось тем, что мы уезжали со слезами на глазах, как от родного человека.
Джуба помогал нам во всём: возил по магазинам, показывал лучшие локации на экскурсиях, угощал домашним вином. Мы вместе жарили шашлыки, сидели за одним столом и душевно общались. Любая наша просьба исполнялась мгновенно и с искренней улыбкой. Если вы хотите почувствовать настоящее грузинское гостеприимство, а не просто снять комнату — вам точно к Джубе. Здесь вас встретят не как клиента, а как близкого родственника. Джуба, спасибо за всё, мы обязательно вернемся!»
