We loved the place immediately. The beds are super-comfy, fitted with firm new mattresses, which is exceptional for Czech cottages and pensions — normally the mattresses are way too soft and leave me and my partner with back pain. The grill is perfectly positioned; it's partially sheltered so you can even grill (with 2 chimney starters that make grilling even more of a joy!) when the weather's bad. So we ended up having the best sleeps and grilled dinners we've had in over 15 years of pension and cottage stays in the Czech Republic. Massive props to the owner, who is super-friendly and considerate (every time he did yard work, he checked in with us to make sure we wouldn't be disturbed, and of course we weren't). Pet friendly — our dog loved lounging, zooming, and digging in the beautiful garden; when the owner's lovely dog was out, she tried showing dominance with ours, but the owner was quick to get her under control. The kitchen is shared (with 2 separate fridges), but this was not a problem at all, as there's only one other room to share it with. The location is absolutely perfect, with quick access on foot to several excellent hiking trails. In conclusion: wonderful place, no notes. Looking forward to our next stay there!

Velmi příjemné prostředí. Ubytování bylo pro nás na ideálním místě. Navíc v klidném prostředí na okraji vesničky a s velkou zahradou. Hostitelé milí, starostliví. Byli jsme naprosto spokojeni. Děkujeme

Przemili właściciele (pies też 😁), wygodne pokoje, olbrzymi zielony teren wokół domu, wielki taras, blisko do szlaków turystycznych, widok na Zamek Trosky. Spokój i zieleń, ptaszki, na które można patrzeć w nieskończoność, idealnie! Budynek też niezwykły, z „duszą”.
