The house features 2 bedrooms 1 queen and 1 king deluxe beds., 3 bathrooms, four fireplaces, a great room with a fully supplied gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, and an upstairs den, all with abundant glass windows and doors, and wrap around upper and lower decks for maximum view and enjoyment of the rainforest.

We loved staying at this incredible house!! This property is so special - the home is gorgeous, with so much warmth, character, and intentionality behind it. It's huge (we're a family of 4 and had plenty of room to spread out and for the kids to play), with fantastic unique bedrooms and bathrooms, a huge soaking tub, enormous decks, a huge, well-stocked kitchen, and two different family room areas. We could really settle in and live there - cooking meals, prepping for the day, doing laundry, and just enjoying the enormous grounds. My kids loved the koi pond and getting to feed them each morning, and I used the hot tub three days in a row and it was heaven with the beautiful old growth trees and native plants surrounding me. The property is incredible and everything is just so thoughtfully done. We loved having this as our home base as we explored the national park, Hilo, and other sites.

Overall the property is beautiful we unfortunately had some issues during our stay that will hopefully be remedied. There was an odd smell downstairs that kept my family from fully enjoying the property. We then noticed rodent droppings which may have contributed to the smell. There were also minor issues with use of the tv and lack of instructions.
