Longbridge House

A large spacious room with lovely bathroom overlooking the back garden. Very clean, tea and coffee with some milk to see us through our 2 day stay. Breakfast was yummy. Excellent location, very welcoming hosts. Great stay.

There is nothing to dislike.

Such a lovely and unique place to stay! The house is a beautiful old English home with so much character, and it was really nice getting to experience something a little different from a typical hotel. The hosts were both very welcoming and helpful, gave us recommendations for the area, and even let me borrow an umbrella when I needed one. They also prepared a breakfast box for us on our last morning as we had to leave very early, which was such a thoughtful touch

I stayed in the room at the very top of the house, which was really cute and spacious. The only downside was that there was quite a strong musty/unusual smell in the room. I noticed it throughout my stay and did wake up feeling a little unwell one morning, so I do think it may be worth checking whether there is an issue with damp or mould in that part of the house. I obviously can’t say for certain what was causing the smell, but it was noticeable enough that I think it’s worth mentioning. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. It’s a charming little place with lovely hosts, and I really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating they were. 😊
