Lo mejor de todo fue la disposición de sus dueños, los cuales regentan también el bar Ametzia, justo enfrente del hostal en sí, quienes nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en todo momento. El hostal dispone, además, de servicio de limpieza. El bar tiene una amplia variedad de pinchos y tapas; tal es así, que por menos de 15 euros pueden comer o cenar dos personas perfectamente. El pueblo, Santesteban, está en una posición privilegiada: a una media hora podremos bañarnos en las playas de Hondarribia; a poco más de una hora, San Juan de Luz, así como pueblos tan representativos del País Vasco francés como Sara o Ainhoa o las conocidas Cuevas de Zagarramurdi y Urdax, San Sebastián y su playa de La Concha, el Pasai Donibane, Jaizquibel o Zarautz.
