This truly is an exceptional apartment run by an exceptional host Juliet for whom nothing is too much trouble. Everything is under her personal control including cleaning - how rare is that? You can guarantee that everything will be spot on. As an instance we were asked what we would like in our welcome basket- red, cava or white. And what was in it far exceeded expectations - the treats from Betty's were out-of-this-world. We were asked before we arrived what we wanted for breakfast - "Would you prefer Traditional English, or Salmon, eggs and avocado.?" In the event we asked for and got croissants (M+S of course). All of this carried over into the apartment itself. Right in the centre of York, it was terrific. Toiletries? Moulton and Brown (unbelievable). Getting up during the night? Bedside torch. Worried about noise (there wasn't any)? Ear plugs. And so it goes on. Most properties seem to have loads of out-of-date magazines. Not here. All I can say is we can't wait to go again......

From start to finish our stay exceeded all expectations.
The hostess, Juliet, has a personal style and greeted us upon arrival, showing us the flat. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the area is vast and infectious. We appreciated the recommendations and information about the local area.
The location is central to most of the attractions and shopping districts. We easily walked to what we wanted to see.
Juliet provided a plethora of snacks and enough food for 2 days of full breakfasts which was an unexpected perk.
The flat was clean and spacious, the furnishings in good condition and comfortable. We came during the summer heat and found the flat to remain at a comfortable temperature.
All in all a wonderful stay and one we intend to repeat.

We loved how friendly the host, Juliet was, she met us on arrival at the apartment and gave us a tour of the apartment. She left a welcome pack which included everything we needed for breakfast and lunch, including wine. The apartment looked amazing and we would definitely stay there again. It is in a really excellent location too, right in the centre of York.
