The room was very clean and nice. The owners are very friendly and we played in the evening at the piano in the lounge. Breakfast is either served there or in the nice garden in front of the house.
We spent our last two nights in Kandy and it was a good place to stay. You can walk about 30 minutes into the city center where various restaurants and at the market as well as the famous temple of the tooth can be found.
Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and no mosquito net in the standard room. The breakfast was a little bit poor - western breakfast as so often only toast, fruit and one egg.

We only had a brief stay, but everything was lovely.
Calm and quiet homestay, just off the main road. Easy to Walk to the market/get a tuk tuk around.

It was like staying with your own relatives as the hosts were so friendly. The main room is like visiting a temple with a tranquil feeling. The breakfast was excellent with lots of kinds of fruit and eggs cooked every day.
It would be great if the evening menu had a kids option.
