The room and the washroom were very clean.

Dilkie and her husband are lovely people and wonderful hosts and have a lovely family. Very attentive, very kind and thoughtful. The location is superb if you're wanting to stay in the Galle Fort area. Just a few metres from the water, lighthouse and the very nice Galle Fort beach (about 3 mins walk.) The room was great. Comfy bed, high ceilings, lovely individually made breakfast, and quiet. Not only did Dilkie arrange a very reasonably priced taxi for me to Colombo airport (approx 2.5 hours away) she let me use the room until 7pm when my taxi left to get me to my late flight.

It was wonderfully situated in the fort area of Galle.
It was somewhat dark and gloomy. It could be a really nice guesthouse with just a little money spent on it and a bit of care and attention.
