The staff were lovely. If you are looking for a quaint experience this would be perfect. Our room was huge and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was also included in the price, but we didn't try it.
Lugging heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs was a little difficult. There was only space for 3 very small cars on the property, the rest was street parking.

They were very kind and packed an early breakfast for us as we were picked up at 6am

Great location for our purpose. Great value with excellent breakfast.
Beautiful architecture and decor of rooms in fitting with the age and style of the building.
The parking situation.....lack of convenient spaces.

The staff was very welcoming. We were greeted at the door and given our key and shown to our room. We were told where breakfast could be found the next morning. The room was big enough for our purposes. We were only staying for one night, so that was okay.
Check in time was very strange. It had to be before a certain time. Perhaps they are understaffed. We were coming from another place at quite a distance, and we were worried that we would not make it on time, but in the end we did after changing some of our plans. Parking is impossible around this place, and the staff was not very helpful in solving this issue. The beds were not very comfortable. The bathroom was falling apart. There was a lot of patchwork repairs, especially on the wall behind the sink. It looked like there had been previous water leakages. Breakfast was very mediocre, hardly worth the extra expense. This place has great potential, but needs so much work to bring it up to a proper standard.
