Bed and linen were comfortable.
wi-fi worked well.
bathroom and toilet rooms were clean and well functioning.
really useful kitchen.
Right near a bus stop that can get you to the center in 15 min.
Grocery stores in 5-10 min distance.
No lockable storage, you only have a plastic tray under the beds.
This must be Reykjavik thing in general, but the hot water smelled like rotten eggs.

The bed was great. Plenty of pots and pans to cook with. Fridge was adequate. Shower had great pressure. The host was nice. The guests were normal?
The floor in the showers were very slippery. One shower was at least 13" to step into. The hostels holds at least 15 people and they're are only 2 showers. I would have liked a boy and girl shower.

the rooms were spacious and staff was very nice. the location is far from main tourist attractions but is close to all the shops and there are parks nearby.
with full dorm it could use a bit more ventilation but I guess the small windows are Iceland thing and there cannot be done much about it.

Beds had curtains for privacy
Others guests were not kind. They were very loud until around 10 pm because it was still sunny. Some guests were keeping the door open so rooms did not felt as safe to leave belongings. Also, beds should be assigned because it is confusing.
