Very clean, felt luxurious yet homely and comfortable. Being a solo traveller, I felt very safe. A large queen bed, ensuite bathroom, mini fridge, kettle with tea/coffee. The room I stayed in faced the Main Street in Dubrovnik old town and was a great view, especially for the light show that was on the weekend I stayed.
Ana the host was very helpful and welcoming. Provided wifi passwords and recommendations for places to eat, drink and visit in and around Dubrovnik.
I would 100% recommend this place to stay and would love to come back here one day!
I loved my stay as Lumin Guest House, but something to consider;
- I stayed on the third floor which was a bit of a challenge to get up my large and heavy suitcase as the staircase spirals around making it a bit narrow and steep. Luckily Ana (host) assisted me in taking them up which I was very grateful for, but if you have heavy luggage this may be something to consider.
- the bathroom was an ensuite but was quite small
- you may want some earplugs as the Main Street can be busy and loud until late hours

Perfect room for a single traveler. Everything you need in a cozy "attic-style" room. The location is a solid 10 out of 10 because you literally overlook the main street ... "Stradum" between the Pile and Ploce gates. The property was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, and the host Anna was most pleasant and responsive! Would 100% return and stay if traveling alone!
This is not a criticism but just a repeating of the fact that this room is on the 4th floor in a building with no elevator and a very narrow winding staircase. If you have more than a backpack and/or a carry-on ... it will be a battle to drag your luggage up ... and down ... the steep narrow staircase ...and 4 flights! Also the noise from the bars nearby were not too bad. You could still hear a dull hum of the cajoling but with the shutters, windows, and window covers closed, it muffled 95% of the noise. Finally the only other small criticism is that the shower is a bit petite unless you are very slender, but hey, 1-person bedroom in Europe, rooms are small!

The location is perfect, in the city centre. I got an early check in because my flight arrived earlier.
There was no hot water one day and the person managing sad she turned on the hot water and I should wait 20 minutes. There was still no hot water after 40 minutes and I had to shower with ice cold water since I was late to a dinner reservation.
The AC did not work on the last night of my stay and though I tried to contact the host, couldnt get through and I could barely get any sleep since the room is small and there was no air without the AC and opening the window was not possible because of the noise from the street.
Very very tiny bathroom which couldn't be locked from the inside.
