The garden area although full of greenery & cozy areas was lacking some wading area to refresh oneself

This small boutique hotel was very welcoming. The owner Raj went out of his way to make us feel genuinely welcome, like friends staying with him and not just paying guests. His attention to detail is impeccable and his massage was probably one of the best which I have ever had. Very thorough and professional.
The location is great for a short walk into Wadduwa for shops and restaurants and also to the beautiful and unspoilt beach, in the opposite direction.
I am happy to recommend and will certainly stay at Raj Mahal Inn again
The railway line next door is a bit of a short term nuisance at times but the plusses definitely outweigh any negatives from the occasional train noise.
