The setting of the hotel is beautiful in the jungle. All the staff were lovely and the owners were very welcoming. The chef, Abdul, was incredible. The food at the hotel was amazing every evening. Rooms were large, comfortable and well maintained. A short walk got you to a picturesque beach which had a good restaurant that had a buffet and live music on Sundays.
Would’ve liked to have had amenities like shampoo and conditioner as didn’t bring those with me!

The location is awesome, 5 minutes walk to Takamaka Beach. The property itself looks beautiful. The cook is very talented, delicious dinner and breakfast.
I normally don't write critical or negative reviews, but this time I have to. We knew that we didn't book a 4* hotel, but our accommodations in the same price range on other islands have been way better.
Let me explain to you why:
- Our bathroom was dirty, and tons of dead ants were on the floor behind the toilette.
- The Wi-Fi was a joke, it's not correct to even advertise Wi-Fi in the description. It's not useable at all, for nothing. The connection is so slow, all you can do is write text messages – loading websites, streams, apps is simply not possible and frustrating (yes, we used it in the public area close to the reception, completely useless).
- We got a room with “garden view”, but it was completely dark and had no view at all. We felt like being in a prison cell.
- The shower had no pressure at all, taking a shower in the rain would have been more effective.
- "Late" checkout is an extension to check out 3 hours later. Pretty useless when your flight leaves in the evening.
I like to book guest houses or simple accommodations, but I wouldn't book this place again.
