My wife and I spent three wonderful weeks in September/October 2026 at Dolce Vita East.
The garden is very large and attractively landscaped. The pool (which was checked every 3 days or so) is very clean and of a usable size for a family. The sunbeds and parasol, as well as the table and chairs in the shade under a gazebo were well maintained and a pleasure to use.
The villa itself is modern, spacious and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen was changed (and the villa cleaned) every 2 -3 days during our stay. All the rooms have air-conditioning and the windows have mesh anti-mosquito screens. The balcony has a table and chairs, and is accessed via a large patio door, also with mosquito screen.
Maria and her husband Leon were the perfect hosts, going out of their way to ensure we had a really enjoyable holiday. Maria had a meal and a bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival and over the course of our 3 week stay she provided three more delicious meals which were very much appreciated.
Dolce Vita East has ample parking and is situated approx. 150 metres down a (smooth) track. Its proximity to the airport isn’t really an issue because the flights weren’t particularly frequent, and the airport is closed at night. There are several tavernas and a mini-mart (with an ATM) within walking distance, and the nearest beach is just 15 minutes away on foot.

Schönes Haus und wunderschöner Garten mit eigenem Pool, alles tiptop.
Das wäre noch die Krönung, wenn der Pool eine Heizung hätte für Herbsturlauber!

First of all the hosts were so friendly and welcoming, we were met at the airport and taken back to the accommodation via a supermarket visit and provided with an amazing home cooked meal.
We arrived before check in and were welcomed in as soon as the accommodation was cleaned.
The villa was spacious, clean and a complete inventory (including a sandwich maker and first aid kit).
The villa is very comfortable, the beds were to a good standard.
The location of the property was fantastic, a €20 taxi ride to Argostoli and an easy walk to the local shops and restaurants.
The swimming pool was clean and private with comfortable garden furniture.
