Liked · We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Home Garden Zaton Mali. This is a chalet/mobile home and by nature is basic accommodation with fittings which could do with some love and attention to detail. However the air con is easy and efficient, the main bed comfy and there are adequate cooking facilities, in a 4 ring hob and BBQ outside.
The home's real joy is the beautiful large terrace, shaded by vines. It is equipped with a dining table, chairs, coffee able and chairs and has adjoining grassy area with sunbeds. Perfect for chilling, looking out over a well maintained vegetable patch with uninterrupted views of the bay. Yes you will hear the main road but that will be true of all accommodation in the area.
Plenty of car parking near the property but there is equally good easy transport by bus to Dubrovnik and a once a day boat option (book with Vagabundo).
It is a lovely stroll from the house along a quiet road and the coast to Zaton Mali to couple of restaurants and further round to more at Zaton Veliki. Plenty of swimming spots in the bay off platforms. For those wanting to stay away from busy Dubrovnik, but wanting ease of access to the city but a more relaxed atmosphere this is a great spot. Car or bus to Slano for a more expansive narrow lovely beach for swimming , shower changing pod and parking no other facilities.
The second bedroom had a musty smell, but as a couple we didn't need this so just closed the door.
The accommodation needs some love and attention to detail. Shower and fittings needs updating and we would have like properly fitting sheets rather than those which are too small. There were glass tumblers but no wine or beer glasses.

Emplacement parfait avec vue sur la baie de Zaton

À 15 minutes de Dubrovnick
Matériel défectueux avec douche fonctionnelle mais parois murale cassées, bac fissuré et ruissellement qui ressort sur la terrasse
Wifi très faible et souvent non fonctionnel (la 5G du tel était plus efficace)…. Ne correspondant pas à la description de l’annonce
Voie rapide pas très loin donc pas vraiment au calme au petit matin mais très supportable
Il faudrait requalifier « Mobilhome avec 2 chambres » plutôt que « Maison avec 2 chambres »
