The property was very central to everything. The rooms weren’t as nice as expected. Th hotel was very quiet.

After travelling for over 3weeks, Vietnam, mekong, this hotel was wonderful peaceful and so relaxing, staff super lovely and helpful.
Maybe softer pillows would have been nice

The breakfast was ok, however, the hot dishes were cold when we ate later in the morning, unfortunately the candles underneath the trays were not kept alight. Variety was ok, although less than a lot of other comparable accommodation.
Honestly, the main thing was a real lack of atmosphere. The decor was a little drab , the room smelt a little musty. We had a suite and the room was very large but just had an undefinable lack of soul! Overlooked the pool which needed a lot done to make the area more enticing . Like restaining the timber decking, more lounges with mattresses and umbrellas, more pots with large plants etc, fresh signage on the pool bar( which I never saw open).
Significantly, the room entrance was on an open passageway, on the street so street noise and in particular, a neighbour who insisted on blaring music at 6 am on the dot every day was a problem! Other standard rooms would have been much quieter. The spa bath in the large bathroom was excellent but a little strange there was no shelf in the shower, and we also got drenched every time we turned on the tap.
This review sounds harsh , however the staff are so friendly and accomodating, the price was very reasonable and we are a little picky having stayed in accommodation in many countries. In no way do I want this to reflect on the staff there.
I think updating the pool area and trying to soundproof these front road rooms would help a lot!
