Canary Guesthouse is in a great location! It’s just a short walk from the Walking Street. simply cross a bamboo bridge and you’re there.
What I love most is that it’s close to everything but not right in the middle of the busy street, so the surroundings remain peaceful and quiet at night.
We drove there, and the guesthouse also provides parking, which made everything so convenient.

It is a great place. I watched Sunsets by the river every night. The room is awesome too. This particular room has a private verandah - it is very nice, but no SunLight and no view here.
In first part of the day there is constant movement of staff members right in front of the room carring rubbish bags, dirty linen from other units, talking about what needs to be done, etc...
The window is the door into the room and you cannot help being part of it all.
Yes, the pathways are layed out this way, but this size of the operation can afford to buy a small electric golf buggy. It can loaded with what is collected from wacated rooms, while it is parked away from occupied rooms and then taken to it's destination (only once or twice - ...not 10 or 15 times). PLEASE CONSIDER!

Toilet got a pungent smell and very old - needs update.
No breakfast
