very good place for a small family or few friends

Disappointing

Location, but not travelling to it.

We asked for assistance with transportation from Kandy Rail Station and we paid 8000 SLR for a mini van with no AC and a driver that spits out of the window with my wife and child in the vehicle - what a welcome after a 4 hours train journey. The English breakfast that consisted of bread, toast, margarine, jam, 3x killed fried eggs and canned spiced sausages - nothing English about it - I did show the cook a googled image of an English breakfast, and she remarked "ohhh". 2 bath towels were left out only for 3 guests. Misguided WiFi connection details. Outdated television system. Previous guests trash in the kitchen bin and general cleanliness of the kitchen. Dangerous electrical connections on the floor lamps (twisted wires). Sharp edges and surfaces on the pool steps area and pool lights not working properly. We left after 1 day into a 2 night stay. You cant keep on trading off the back of the Victoria golf course and surroundings with extremely poor amenities and service in the villa.

Gorgeous villa on the golf course for a relaxing stay

Beautiful villa, ideally located on the golf course. The villa was very clean and well equipped. Very pleasant garden with swimming pool. Hosts were very nice and helpful. The dinner they prepared for us was delicious! We will come back for sure and for more than 2 days!!

The Western breakfast could be bit more hearty. The Sri Lankan breakfast was great though.

Exceptional

The scenic view of the mountains and the victoria resiorvior is marvellous. Hosts gave us very warm welcome and the sri lankan meals they prepared were exceptional. The pool was cool too. Really wish to come back again.

Fantastic location let down by the club and communication

The setting is relaxing, beautiful and the infinity pool gorgeous. The stars and fireflies light up the night sky: The house is comfortable, spacious and clean. The couple looking after the villa friendly and welcoming.

A little TLC was required as two chairs were broken (the wicker in the seat broken and sagging) and they were the most comfortable outside chairs. The inside doors also needed a little repair as locks were missing and the surround sound seemed to have a disconnected cable (and no HDMI) The biggest frustration however was communication and the resort itself. Firstly, the resort seemed to treat us as secondary in the restaurant, clearly going out of their way to set up tables in advance and serve owners/residents whilst leaving us standing on the side, waiting for waiters, waiting for tables etc. There was also repeated miscommunication around everything. A number of times we turned up for lunch or dinner (having checked previously that the restaurant was running as normal) only to find out that there was a function we needed to buy tickets for, a special meal or similar going on. For clarity, this was over the Christmas period so we checked multiple times to be safe but to no effect. Genuinely we felt like we were irrelevant and the staff simply tended to ignore us. Secondly, whilst the couple helping on site were very friendly, we struggled to find out anything as their English wasn't great. I appreciate that my Sinhala is even worse but at all other places there were managers with much better communication. Some sort of guidebook may help.

very homely and nice view , the staff was very helpful and very courteous

the rooms were not vacuumed there was plenty of dust ( my wife’s got a dust allergy) also the the spring bed needs a board in between the bed and the mattress as the mattress is to soft (may give back aches to people not used to same) apart from these two things everything else was 👌🏻

Superb!

Breathtaking views.. Vintage style villa with private pool. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom with amenities. Caretakers Ramya and Bandara were exceptional. They prepared our breakfast and looked in to our comfort. Great service. Fully equipped kitchen with complimentary fruits. Many activities such as Golf, Horseriding, Table tennis are available as the property is located in Victoria golf club and resort compound. The Club has a good restaurant and bar.

Amazing place to stay

Our stay in villa tee four was really great and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The place was very clean and calming and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast made by the caretakers was delicious. And our favourite part was the private pool with the amazing scenery, it was breathtakingly beautiful. We recommend that this is truly an amazing place to stay and we hope to come back again. Keep up the great service!

Beautiful property!!

The property is really beautifil, with an incredible view, and all the equipements for a nice stay. Will definitely try to come again.

Extraordinary

I love the pool deck area and the view. I put some music on and just enjoyed the night on the deck because the sky was full of stars

Wish the pool was heated. Visited about 4 Times but I couldn't get into the pool because it was so cold

Quiet out of the way villa. Good for golf

Peaceful quite location with great views. Nice to have a quiet pool to myself. Kind helpful housekeeper.

It is a little hard to find. Local services are via the golf club but still need to use tuktuk to get to them or into town. It would be nice to have sunbeds to go with the pool.
