The house was within walking distance to state park, shops and restaurants. Even though the house has been redone on the inside, there were a few issues. The water/ice maker on the fridge were not working and the front steps were slightly dangerous. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. I would say the house was "bare bones" as far as amenities go, but we only spent 2 nights so it was OK for us.

The place was nice for what it is. Older house that has a nice renovation. Great location, restaurants and stores only a few blocks away. Great coffee. Shop just around the corner. Friendly people and quiet neighborhood.

The house itself was really nice. Disappointed because it was not clean. You pay a lot of money to stay in these homes and you would think they would be clean. Floors were filthy and spider webs everywhere.

Overall the rental was fine. Location is awesome. Quiet neighborhood and super close to everything. The kitchen is lacking some things so if you rent, make sure to bring absolutely everything you need. As others have indicated, seating is an issue. If you have more than 6 adults, there isn't anywhere for everyone to sit and play games or even talk. Unfortunately someone had broken 2 chairs so we didn't even have 8 chairs around the table to eat together. Communication with rental management was quick and easy. Just have appropriate expectations, it's clearly an older home that was remodeled for a rental. Generally clean and comfortable. Our group loved the location. The good thing is...if you need anything Walmart is next door!

There were 10 of us,and we all had a comfy stay. The house is in a great neighborhood very close to everything you need. We did a lot of hiking, biking, kayaking and restaurants. There's also a Walmart 2 min away if you need to buy foodstuffs. We didn't spend much time in the house, just the nights. And we've noticed how quiet it is at night. We didn't cook either, so hard to judge the kitchen supplies, but breakfast places are so close,we didn't even want to bother about cooking. For those who want to visit just Watkins Glen State Park, it's 3 min away! All in all, we loved our stay and hope to be back!

Great location especially for the lake and park. The area was beautiful. The host Courtney was very nice and helpful. I would just suggest having a mop available, washer and dryer. The house had enough room for the family. There were also food and other stores close by some within walking distance.
