Beautiful properly! Very clean, lovely staff and nice breakfast!
The room gets cold at night (obviously), but under the quilt the beds are super cozy and warm!!
Hard to get into town via uber, the walk is very safe but around 30-40mins. The owners were able to organise us a taxi which was great. They charged good prices.

The Location is perfect because at night you can see all of the Stars in the Night Sky.
Also the staff were friendly and the Yurta was very clean inside.
No heaters in the Yurta, which was a bit of a problem for me because at night it got very cold during the time I was there.
However, the staff were able to provide me with a portable heater which did help me alot.

Concept is of course the best thing about this property - with a choice of tents, simple or deluxe yurts (with private bathroom)
Location - 5mn drive from San Pedro so it’s own oasis and close to the Vallée de la muerte (10mn walk)
Bikes available to rent
Pool - although it was small and cold, still a nice to have if you fell like a little dip on a hot day
Breakfast was underwhelming… bread, ham, cheese & a weird sweet pudding
Noise can be an issue especially after dark if people aren’t respectful of others. Aaand it so happens that the astronomical tour (stargazing) occurs at this venue, nearly every night of the week, from roughly 9pm to 11:30pm, we could hear the guide & tourists doing the tour…
Location.. can be a positive for some as mentioned as you are isolated from San Pedro center and close to Vallée de la muerte (10mn walk)
However if you want to go eat or do groceries you definitely need a ride/car/taxi (5,000 Chilean pesos one way) each time or you can walk (just over 30mn but it can get veeeery hot during the day)
Languages - only Spanish is spoken.
FYI - if you want to do tours whilst in San Pedro, they will share with you the contact for an agency called Astro Turismo Deep Sky. They are easy to deal with via message/whatsapp, although honestly rude at times.
However, we recommend you shop around… in San Pedro, there are probably 50 agencies that offer the same tours and we saw everything advertised for less than what we paid. We only booked on the day before our arrival in San Pedro and it was fine but not sure if at certain times of the year it gets busier and you need to book earlier..
