Location is amazing! Not far from the marina and no stairs to get to the property. I saw reviews about the narrow stairs getting to the rooms and yes this is true but also many other properties in this town require you to climb many stairs to get to them and also then climb up a staircase to get to your room— so this was really as good as it gets. Pack wisely, you’re in Europe and elevators are not common!
Lots of local shops near by.
Easy access to the trains as well!
Very tidy and clean.
Host was also super easy to reach and communicate with.
A few things to keep in mind before booking this property:
- the walls and floors are paper thin — the people above us were watching tv and it was like they were in our room. Could hear every word of their conversations. We were really only in our room to sleep but it was actually quite annoying.
- pillows were laughably horrible (I’ve never really complained about pillows before so you gotta know these ones were really bad to make the review)
- towels were also probably due for a replace — they were giving old dishcloth energy
- air conditioner had a catch in the fan portion so it would make a really loud thunk about every 5 seconds — we tried to use the air conditioner to drown out the noise from the unit above but it was also incredibly noisy in a bad way.
Keep in mind that this property is older and has its quirks, I still think it’s a good booking option but just be aware of the cons as well!
