Very kind and helpful manager. Great breakfast each day. Air conditioned and room was styled in the manner of a Haveli with a four poster bed and stained glass windows. A taste of the grand days of India
Difficult location to find at night - tucked away in a corner of the pol. It was, however, on the heritage walking trail being a historic building.

Clean and quiet. The host is the most helpful we have ever experienced. Always at disposal and solves the smallest inconvenience in a second. After speaking with other travelers in Ahmedabad I am certain this is the very best place to stay. We can’t recommend enough!

The best thing about this property is the caretaker Narayanji. Extremely helpful, smiling and knows his job well. The 2nd thing is the house itself which has its own history, is beautifully done up and it’s in the Center of old Ahmedabad heritage site. For people who want to experience the old city culture this is nice.
Both rooms are on 1st and 2nd floors and the steep wooden staircase can be extremely challenging. Also the vehicles don’t go up to the house which has its advantages and disadvantages. Though the caretaker comes to the main road for the luggage.
