Breakfast on the terrace was the highlight of the stay. Assortment of local jams, yogurt, eggs, cheese, local juice. The setting was lovely. The host was warm and welcoming.
The air conditioning was controlled centrally and turned off overnight, so the room got stuffy and warm - it was possible to open the balcony door, but then mosquitoes came in. We had been looking forward to eating dinner there (it was the main reason we booked this accommodation) but unfortunately the chef was in the hospital so there was no dinner available. We hope he recovers soon! But it would have been nice for this to be communicated in advance. You need to drive to get anywhere else.

Fantastic location - within easy reach of Trieste & then accessible for local sites like Tolmin & Soca river
Ester & Stefan were perfect hosts - fabulous hole cooked meal using all their local produce - brilliant 🥰
