The property situation is ideal. Close enough to the to centre to make shopping convenient but not so close to be troubled by too many passers-by. The nearby Avon Valley Way is really good for dog walking.

We stayed here for nearly 3 weeks and it was fantastic. The cottage has a lovely homely feel and exceeded our expectations. Fantastic location, close to town and ideally situated for visits to the New Forest and beyond.
The cottage has been extended at some stage so does not feel compact at all, yet keeps the traditional feel. We have stayed in quite a few places recently and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time! My wife was so happy she wants to buy Bert's Cottage if it ever becomes available. Enjoy!
