Location on the beach was amazing. The authenticity of the stay was desired by me.
The family of Taven were incredibly kind, Accomodation and so friendly and curious. They did all they could for me.
Not the fault of the property but there was no water for showering or toilet flushing so it all got a bit hard for me. The family did eventually find some buckets or water and I hope they were not sacrificing their precious drinking water.
Being late season; I was the only one there for part of my stay and it was hard to get onto trips. I therefore had time reading in a hammock which is pleasant but not what I was there for. Again not the fault of the family but you need to know the trips can’t always be organised. They are not always the same either. I did snorkel trip to blue lagoon twice, same price but second time we didn’t do the better location near the resort. We were bored and stopped snorkelling but the boat ‘captain’ didn’t return to pick us up for ages!

Elia and Salomé made us feel incredibly welcome. The village is beautiful, and all the locals are genuinely kind. Elia organised several activities for us, and everything was very easy to arrange. The meals were absolutely delicious and served in generous portions. The octopus in coconut milk was a wonderful discovery!
We spent two days filled with amazing experiences and met some truly wonderful people. Thank you for making our stay in Nassissily so fantastic!

I stayed at Taven Homestay- Salome is an absolute angel and everyone is super friendly and helpful.
It is very peaceful and all the bures are beachfront and have a hammock (which I spent most days in reading).
All the food is local and the cake is delicious.

Salome and her husband were very nice and caring. They made us feel like home.
Spending time at this home stay give you a different perspective as how the locals live.
Food and location were perfect.
Very little facilities, however this is a homestay not a resort.
