Breakfast was generous enough for the price. Cold-cut meat, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, a good selection of bread and pastries, and a coffee machine for making your own coffee or tea. The staff was helpful at all times. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfy, and although it was tight in a 4-bed dorm, it was a very pleasant stay. I did enjoy being close enough to the central station. After a short ferry ride (for free!) one could enjoy the vibe of the city. There was plenty to do directly around the hostel, too. What I liked was that the hostel was occupied by tourists of different ages, including families. It felt safe and welcoming, with a good vibe.
There wasn't anything I didn't like, actually. What I noticed was there were only stairs leading into the property. It would be very helpful to have a ramp to carry heavy luggage in and out, or to allow those with mobility issues to have easier access to the building.

Expected value for a hostel. Great location and easy to get the ferry across to the central city.
Sheets and room could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly (hair on pillow and floor) but nothing crazy.
