Resat is the nicest, friendliest owner host you could hope to meet. While the rooms aren’t huge they are clean and comfortable. The common lounge area is great with views across the water to Kanakkale, superb, and in the genuine hospitality and conversation makes this a memorable and very enjoyable place to stay.
That we couldn’t stay longer. We didn’t realise we needed at least 4-5 days in this area. We will plan to return.

Reşat is a wonderful host. His place is so interesting. It is extremely clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable. It is a short walk to the main street where there's a few restaurants. He arranged a tour to Gallipoli for me, which was lovely of him to do. His breakfast spread is simply extravagant. Beautiful, traditional and freshly made daily by Reșat and it would have to be the best one I have had during my trip. Kilitbahir is a tiny little town. It is a short ferry ride to Cannakale, the departure port is about a 5 minute walk from Reşat's place. There is a castle there which is so interesting to visit. The next main town from Kilitbahir is Eceabat, where many tours to Gallipoli leave from. I am explaining this as I thought I was staying in Cannakale but it is not. So for transport planning purposes, it is important to know. I would definitely recommend staying with Reşat for a peaceful break.

Location - a short and cheap ferry ride from Canakkale and a five min walk to B&B. Several seafood restaurants and a grocery store are within a few mins walk. The owner (i called him Captain) and his daughter were very welcoming, generous and kind. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. As I had an early start one morning the Captain packed me a picnic breakfast. The views from the Lounge area were spectacular. I would highly recommend this accommodation. I’ll be back !

Awesome hosts, the owner is so so welcoming, just a great person and so is his daughter.
We had really nice chats, they were also so helpful with a lot of information and orientation.
Ferry very close 3-5 walking, bout 40TL for 1 way ride, really cheap. About 750 for trip with the car on it.
