Lovely place, beautiful, private, great little pool, food was fabulous. Staff were all so lovely and helpful and personable.
We were relaxing after a safari and it was perfect.
Oh, the dogs and cat were great to pet.
Would have liked a bedside lamp, I like to read at night.
The pillows can fall under the headboard!
The location is great but you are kind of isolated there
Although the staff will bring you tea or coffee I like a kettle in the room.

Beautiful view of Meru Mountain
Firstly, when we arrived, we were told that we had only booked for two adults. We had clearly booked for the family (with 2 children) but they could not see it. They wanted us to redo the booking and it was too late or pay for a second room. Finally after a lot of discussion they let us stay in the room. The family was tired and it was unnecessary waiting. Also the road getting to Karama Lodge is horrible. It was not easy for the vehicle to get up the hill (road all broken).
