It was very close to the airport. The room was pretty bare, but it had a comfy bed, nice bathroom and small kitchnette. Everything we needed for an overnight stay. A good restaurant was also within close walking distance. There was a shared kitchen downstairs with a fridge covered in sticky notes from past travelers. Interesting. The room had a mini fridge, but if you needed more space, the shared kitchen had a full size you could use. They also had a shuttle that took us to the airport in the morning. It wasn't complimentary, but it was nice to have it reserved so no worries.
Trying to enter the building, we were supposed to use a specific door with a keypad. The keypad didn't work, but they had a number listed nearby and they answered immediately and were able to tell us what to do to get in. It was interesting that the room key is in a lock box by your room and you never remove it. You don't have to worry about losing a key.

Convenient to airport
The room was extremely hot with no way to regulate heat, bunk bed were not comfortable for the 2 guests using them.

We booked this place for our final night in Iceland since we had an early flight the next morning. It was really a great decision - our room was very large, and it helped with the packing. We had a fridge and a microwave in the room, which helped with dinner, and it was very clean and comfortable. Additionally, it was very close to the airport, and it only took 10 minutes to get to the rent-a-car place at the airport. Nearby are a few larger supermarkets and a gas station and within walking distance there is a nice little port for an evening walk.

The location to a quaint little town and the airport.
We did not realize it was more of a hostel than a hotel. Entry was by code and getting into the room was complicated for us. It's more for young hikers not for a couple of women over 60
