The house is genuinely exceptional. Traditional Greek styling inside, immaculately clean throughout, with powerful, spacious showers, comfortable beds and well-judged air conditioning in every room. With three young girls, having all the bedrooms on one level, ours right alongside theirs, was a real comfort and gave us peace of mind. The kitchen is spacious and properly functional. And the thoughtfulness runs deep: coffee capsules, laundry liquid, body wash, dishwasher tablets, toilet roll, washing bags, Tupperware, real kitchen utensils…even ice cube bags, which I'd never used before and now swear by. Fresh towels are provided for both the pool and the beach, so there was no need to pack our own….a genuine saving on luggage. All the little things you only notice when they're missing. We wanted for nothing.
The pool sat at a constant 30 degrees and became our sanctuary after hot beach days in the August heat. The grounds and flowers are beautifully kept, and the view from the balcony is extraordinary, out over vast olive groves to the distant hills beyond the airport, the sun rising through the clouds each morning, and the lights of Zakynthos Town and beyond twinkling as you unwind at night.
The location is tucked up in the hills, quiet and secluded, yet ten to fifteen minutes from excellent tavernas and beaches, and twenty to thirty minutes from most of the island worth seeing.
Alexandros was in touch straight after booking with everything we needed to know before flying. He was called away on a family matter the day we arrived, but his neighbour across the road met us and showed us round — being welcomed like that in a semi-rural spot had us relaxed within minutes.
He checked in most days to make sure everything was right, that the cleaner had been and the pool service had done its job. You never felt you couldn't ask for anything. We've rented a lot of Greek villas as a family over the years.
One small note: the final stretch of road is narrow and may unsettle nervous drivers. It serves only one or two villas, though….in a full week we never met a car coming the other way, and I suspect it would be fine even if you did.

Alexandros was a fantastic host and the villa was perfectly prepared.
The layout and cleanliness of the villa couldn’t be better and the pool was a life saver in the hot afternoon once we came back from the beach.

Amazing views, complete privacy, and a very comfortable villa with everything we needed. The outdoor BBQ area and pool were perfect for relaxing. Alexandros was an excellent host, and the level of service (pool maintenance, fresh towels, housekeeping) made the stay feel like a five-star hotel.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

Just Perfect we had a lovely holiday at Villa Clairy.
The whole Villa is clean tidy spacious very private & peaceful, also comes with a great view, the swimming pool is a fab size, clean towels for us to use, Kitchen well equipped & was handy to have a washing machine.
Alexandros was very kind to us and helped us with anything we needed, very thoughtful to get shopping in for us on arrival, he also made my 7year old son a delicious Birthday cake in his favourite colour, and kindly gave us some olive oil to take home from his very own trees, thank you so much x
