Zunächst mal ist hier alles anders. Dieses alte Gutshaus wird nicht als Hotel geführt, sondern als Guesthouse, wie und der Chef erzählte. Es gibt keine Küche, aber er kann gegen Aufpreis alles besorgen, sagte er. Unser Doppelzimmer war schön mit Blick auf den Park, das gläserne Duschklo war aber etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Da wir aber komplett alleine in dem Haus waren, haben wir die Gemeinschaftsdusche und Toilette benutzt. Morgens wurde das Frühstück exclusiv für uns zubereitet und wir konnten uns aussuchen, wo wir essen wollen (drinnen oder draußen). Wir haben uns für den Ballsaal entschlossen. Das alte Gebäude wird mühsam instand gehalten, hat aber seine besseren Tage hinter sich. Trotzdem funktioniert alles und der Betreiber ist sehr bemüht. Es gibt noch einen 11HA großen Park mit Beschilderung und Erklärungen. Der Bus nach Tallinn hält direkt vor dem Haus, wir haben aber trotzdem das Auto genommen. Mit Restaurants sah es in der Nachsaison nicht gut aus, aber der Coop in Kose hat ein gutes Angebot und bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten.
Man könnte es heruntergekommen nennen, aber auch das hat wieder etwas. Es ist sicher nicht für jeden geeignet. Man muss Abstriche machen und sich darauf einlassen, dann ist es wunderschön.

The place is still a work in progress, but full of history. And one can only admire the owners for putting in the work to try to save such a place.
