The hotel was beautiful. We had a lovely time. They should actually take better pictures to show off just how nice it is. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff were friendly and it was clean and tidy. We loved it and we definitely go back again
The only issue is you have to be let in by someone else. We have a room key but the front door is locked. Which makes it safe but you can’t go in and out as you please as such.

Easy to find. Lovely interiors in a spacious and sumptuous building, with bird-song greeting us on arrival. Very helpful staff and good breakfast. Excellent views from the roof terrace - a great shame meals could not be taken there.
Bed was very firm. The downside of the magnificent lightwell running the full height of the building is that sounds carry extremely well. So if you go to bed early, you'll readily notice the arrival, movements, conversations and even showering of those who come later.
