• Beautiful vineyard setting with stunning scenery. * Friendly and helpful staff. * Nice breakfast.

* I paid £290 for one night and, at that price, expected a much better room. Our room overlooked the restaurant, so we had to keep the blinds closed most of the time for privacy, leaving us with little natural light and no enjoyable view. * Considering the hotel’s beautiful vineyard setting, it was disappointing that the room offered no opportunity to appreciate it. I also noticed several other rooms with their blinds closed, suggesting this may be a design issue rather than an isolated case. * There was no comfortable guest lounge or sitting area to relax outside the room. If you didn’t want to stay in your room, the restaurant was really the only place to sit. For a hotel at this price point, I expected more communal facilities. * Overall, while the staff, breakfast and surroundings were excellent, I did not feel the room and facilities justified the premium price I paid. * If you’re visiting mainly for the vineyard, you don’t necessarily need to stay at the hotel. The vineyard is open to the public, so you can enjoy a leisurely walk or afternoon tea without paying the premium room rate.
