Superb

The studio was cosy, clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Our host, Michele, was friendly and attentive and made sure we had a great experience.

Definitely recommended!

The flat is incredibly spacious, you can play hide and seek there. Moreover, it was clean, well-equipped, large car park and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Poor wi-fi reception in some parts of the flat. No shower cabin, but plastic curtain instead.

Great spacious apartment in a very convenient location for exploring the south east of Sicily.

The apartment was ideally located for exploring the south east of the island. Everything that we wanted to visit was within a reasonble distance by car and the beach was just a six minute walk away which was great. Our host Michele was terrific - he was easy to communicate with and helped us with a couple of small problems we had very quickly and efficiently. The apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped with excellent air con. We also had a covered parking space which we could use for our entire stay which was very welcome. We enjoyed the apartment very much!

There was just one thing that slightly spoilt it for us. The apartments were in a gated area - just outside this gated area was a large public car parking area,, a public grassed area and a public basketball court. At night large groups of people gathered in the car parking area on their motorbikes and cars and were very rowdy, smashing bottles etc and then let off loud fireworks at midnight before dispersing at about 1am - this happened almost every night that we were there. It was very difficult to sleep through this despite having the shutters and windows closed. We appreciate that is something that is beyond the control of the host so we do not blame him for this!! We may just have been unlucky that this behaviour coincided with our stay in Avola.

Exceptional

The apartment was exactly like on the pictures. Michele is a very friendly host, the communication was easy and he gave many tips. For those staying a few nights only the accommodation is a perfect fit. Easy to access both the old town and beach (10min walking each).

Superb

If you are looking to find a place near the beach and the most beautiful villages in the south of Sicily, you must stay here. Super convenient, super quiet and a very comfy bed. 👌

Nice and spacious apartment in quiet but beautiful Avola

Our host was very friendly and helpful! Even got us a new DVD Player when the old one didn't work! Apartment was very spacious, clean and quiet, nice furniture. Air condition worked well. Always enough warm water in bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is in a safe neighbour hood. No problem walking alone at night. The apartment is in walking distance from the beach (750 m) and the city center (1km) . We could use the parking spot that belongs to the apartment. That is very convenient!! There are some nice restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors in Avola. I can recomend the Pizzeria "la corte d'Aragona" Avola is a great place to stay when you want to visit the surrounding UNESCO baroque cities of Noto, Piazzolo Acreide and Siracusa. Also you can visit Modica, Marzamemi, Ragusa and Catania.

Place, where you want to return

Accommodation is in a great location. You can make many trips around the city and there is a lot of restaurants with great food close to apartment and of course very nice beaches. Michele is very helpful when we needed anything and also he recommended us places and restaurants that pays off to visit, what was really nice.

Avola very central conformable stay close to all surround natural places, the flat was fantastic

Vary Basic accommodation in a local residential town

Michele was very helpful when we asked for extra bowls (there was only 1 there) he bought new ones.

Location was noisy with kids on mopeds and a fairground playing loud music until Midnight. Avola is not the best place for tourists as there are minimal restaurants open in late May early June, and nothing to do except go to the beach. We counted about 10 restaurants open. Accommodation was very basic, but OK.
