Es ist ein riesiges Grundstück mit einem tollen Haus, alles sehr persönlich. ein großer Garten, viele Pflanzen und Bäume und viel Grün. Ein Pool, ein Fussballplatz, ein Baumhaus, wo man drin schlafen kann, ein zusätzliches Gebäude mit Tischfussball und Tischtennisplatte und Aufenthaltsraum, ein Grillplatz und Pizzaofen, in dem man auch Brot backen könnte, Tiere wie Schafe, Gänse und Hasen auf dem Gelände und absolute Ruhe. Das Haus selbst hat alles was man braucht. Für uns mit 3 Kindern war das top, wir haben uns super entspannen können und die Kinder hatten Spass und konnten überall rumlaufen und wir durften alles benutzen, was wir nicht mal geschafft haben. Die Besitzerin ist supernett und freundlich und die Kommunikation mit ihr war einwandfrei.
Es gibt absolut nichts zu beanstanden.

We arrived to the Villa with very clear info on how to get there and how to enter. There was a wonderful selection of delicious Portuguese treats waiting for us . The villa itself is simply set in the most stunning environment , lush gardens, wonderful wildlife (rabbits, frogs & lots of birds to name but a few) and misty hills in the distance. We stayed for 2 weeks and all 4 of us were very sad to leave. We spent many hours in the pool every day and evenings were spent on the terrace enjoying the peace and calm . Time lost all meaning! There's a good supermarket that has everything you need, excellent bakery (pastel de natas became a daily indulgence) and places to eat all (especially restaurant "4625") within 5 min drive or 20 min walk. 100% we would love to come beck again !

La casa esta mejor que en las fotos. Esta, limpia, ordenada, nos dejaron un detalle de bienvenida que nos encantó 🤗
Es una casa cómoda, todo en planta baja, con habitaciones amplias con su propio baño y uno extra cerca del salon.
Camas muy confortables . Lo mejor es el terreno que rodea la casa. La piscina es grande, te permite hacer largos y saltar del trampolín a mis hijos les encanto!! Siempre muy limpia con una zona que cubre 0,90 y la maxima 2 metros creo o algo mas..
Mucha hierba con hamacas para tomar el sol rodeados de mucha vegetación . Zona de barbacoa que hemos aprovechado un montón.
La anfitriona Elsa, siempre muy atenta🫶 y respondiendo enseguida.
Lo que si nos hubiera gustado sería encontrarnos con la TV más acorde con el salon tan grande y espacioso que tiene la casa. Es una tele pequeña, metida dentro de un armario que no permite que se vea muy bien desde los sofás. Nos tocó el Mundial de Futbol y somos muy futboleros!!

Amazing garden and pool - probably the loveliest villa garden we have seen in extensive travels. The setting is also secluded and amazing, with views across the river (though not of it) to the hills on the far side.
Large and spacious villa, pretty well equipped (except see below)
Elsa was very responsive - when the oven broke due to a cable fault, she had an electrician there within 30 minutes; and she delivered fans quickly after being asked. She also left us a lovely cake and port.
A central location between Porto, Braga and the wine district; (but if you thought you would be in the heart of the Douro wine district, you would be a bit disappointed, as it is 90 minutes'drive away).
The biggest problem was a lack of sleep. The description on Booking.com says there are fans in the villa, but there were none on arrival. Upon asking on the second day, one was provided. We asked again two days later and a second appeared, but there was never one for the third bedroom. In any case, with daytime temperatures of around 35C, the nights were sweltering, even with the fans. Opening the windows was not an option because most nights a very strong wind below up, causing doors and shutters to slam unless locked open or closed (and one shutter can't be locked open as there is no catch, as we discovered at 4 am). So it was too hot to sleep with the windows closed and too windy/noisy to sleep with them open.
The mattresses were also rock hard, though this was solved by folding the heavy bedcovers on top of them and adding a blanket as well.
We slept well only one night out of six.
A second issue was lack of privacy. Although we appreciate this is in part a working farm, and there is a water tank next to the garden, reality is that one of the estate managers would appear almost daily, with no warning to do something in the water tank or flowerbeds. One day, they were testing sprinklers from 11 am to 4 pm (at one point, drenching me on a sunbed). We also had people working there for two lunches and one dinner. While they were perfectly polite and helpful, there was never a feeling that it was "our" villa for the week. We didn't complain as most of this was in the last two days, but we would recommend that there is either a set timetable for such visits or that the tenant is called in advance.
Fittings are a little odd - no wardrobe in the master bedroom and a table for four outside when the villa is for six people.
Although the villa was clean enough, it did not feel as though a special Covid-clean had been done. The outside table was dirty, the barbeque was filthy and the pizza oven was full of cobwebs.
