First and foremost Carol was the absolute best. She helped us plan and was an incredible host.
Breakfast was very complete, and dinners were delicious, with a lot of variety. After days of hopping restaurant to restaurant, we loved getting to sit at the dinner table every evening for a home cooked meal.
When it comes to location, again, 10/10. We were a 5 min walk away from the West gate of the park. This is the place to be if you want to enjoy Zhangjiajie National Park.
Now to the star of the show, Carol, our host. She spoke great English and helped us meticulously plan our days through the national park. She provided day to day custom itinerary and maps and was always available if we had any questions.
One of the members of our group got scratched by a monkey (not her fault, be careful) and Carol went out of her way to drive us to the clinic (twice) and handled all insurance paperwork and doctor visits. We are extremely grateful to her. Her and her family were very warm and welcoming.

Amazing location, only a 5 minute walk to west gate entrance of the National Park. Carol was very helpful throughout the whole trip, will definitely return.

Carol is a gem. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects, she really allowed us to experience the best holiday - her suggestions and guidance is priceless. The location is fantastic, just outside east gate of the Park, which is of stupendous beauty.
A separate shower would have been nice, but minor aspect

Wonderful host and location within walking distance to the national park. Helped with transportation and booking a tickets. Highly recommend.
