Good location, a couple of minute walk to the beach. Amazing view from the huge balcony, great space to relax and watch the sea. The apartment itself was fairly comfortable and clean.
I booked this accommodation for my parents, and while there were some positives, there were several things that could have made their stay much more comfortable.
It would have been great to have some basic items provided, such as water in the fridge and kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee for the morning. Instructions for using the coffee machine would also have been helpful. A microwave and kettle would have been useful additions too, although these were not deal breakers.
The Wi-Fi was also a little confusing. The name mentioned on the instruction sheet was different from the actual network name. I noticed that another review from around a year ago mentioned the same issue, so it seems strange that this information still hasn't been updated.
What frustrated me the most, however, was the check-in process. The check-in instructions email was entirely in Italian, which was particularly difficult as the apartment itself was also quite hard to find. Thankfully, my partner is local and was able to translate the email and ask the restaurant downstairs for assistance, which we then discovered also owns the accommodation. Without that help, finding and accessing the apartment would have been extremely difficult.
Another issue that made both my parents and me feel uncomfortable was related to some maintenance rooms or similar spaces located on the balcony. One day, when my parents returned to the apartment, they noticed that someone had apparently been there while they were away. This meant that someone had entered the apartment without their knowledge. I completely understand that maintenance areas may occasionally need to be accessed, but entering a guest's accommodation without informing them beforehand is a major concern and something I find unacceptable.
