Wonderful location right on the beach , couldn’t ask for better . The bungalow was clean , spacious , very well equipped and has a wonderful deck with the best view of the lagoon . Oasis store and Rarotonga bakery across the road . Walking distance to Vianas and The Islander for great food, drinks and setting .

Fabulous stay, we loved it all. Great location on a beach pretty much to ourselves (water not deep bit ok for a dip). The view was great, had a huge deck with new immaculate bbq, sun loungers and table and chairs. It was private and quiet. Place was perfect and hosts thought of things like lots of coat hangers, big smart TV, well equipped kitchen. Also chairs and table on beach, snorkel's, bean bags, reef shoes, outside shower for after swims. Across the road from supermarket, gas and bakery. We had a car which was good so we could easily go to restaurants to eat. We have stayed in Raro before but this place we will go back but for longer next time.

Location, Location and location. There's a petrol station (sells hot food, alcohol as well) and a bakery (fresh coffee) right across the road. Turn left out of accommodation your close to airport and further down your in town. Turn left you head towards Sea wall and Black Rock. Loved staying here. Meitaki Ranuinui Tashi.

I didn't like walking onto my balcony every morning and the sun, and the beach is looking at me to come swim, so early in the morning. At night your trying to relax and all you can hear is the waves hitting the sand so annoying. 😆 🤣 😂

The host is very friendly and kind! She was great at answering questions we had about the accommodation. The location is right next to where the bus can stop, so it is easy to catch buses from the villas to any of the activities you may want to do during your stay. The bakery across the road is wonderful and have the best pies ever. It is also opposite a gas station with a lot of grocery items available. Another bonus of the location is that it is a very short bus ride away from the town centre (Avarua). The laundry area behind the villas was very handy for us as we did not rent a car and therefore would not have been able to drive to the laundromat if we needed to. It was great to be able to bring less clothes and wash them, especially since our flights back did not allow checked luggage. We really enjoyed the equipment provided for water activities, especially the kayaks. We did not end up using the barbecue but we love that this is an option that was available to us. The kitchen has lots of utensils, pots and pans and some handy appliances like a kettle and toaster. There were also lots of towels provided (including some beach towels) which was super convenient for us. The shaded outdoor deck area was great for relaxing, as were the lounger chairs and picnic table further out on the beach :) The view of the beach is absolutely gorgeous!!! Do not let the roosters, proximity to the airport or the main road deter you from staying here. The noise was minimal and not disruptive at all for us. Flights are only a few times a day and were not as loud as I expected at all. The proximity to the airport was actually very convenient because we saved money by walking to the accommodation with our carry ons (12 minute walk) instead of catching a taxi or shuttle.

Having to boil water or buy bottled water for drinking was a little bit inconvenient but was within our expectations and the host was up front about it. This is the case with most non-resort accommodation on the island due to the limitations of the infrastructure. This was a very minor drawback and it was worth it to stay at the wonderful villas to experience the beautiful island and the local culture ❤️
