Really appreciated the spaciousness of the room, features such as chilled water dispenser, comfortable beds and pillows, in-room espresso machine, rack for drying swimwear, chair hammock, AC and fans and no televisions! I also loved the Sunken Fish restaurant and their several vegan options. Also staff was excellent.
Really only two things. The music selection at restaurants was odd (80s-90s pop) that we felt didn’t mesh with the Caribbean Latin setting, more local music would have been better (Latin Caribbean reggae or kettledrum instrumentals). Also, I took out a SUP board one afternoon and was disappointed. I know about SUP, with 11 years experience on professional equipment. The board would not track straight and the paddle could not adjust in length and had a blade that flexes—making it difficult to put power into the stroke as the blade would bend backwards. Beginner paddlers would not notice these faults but if they complain about going in circles and not being able to go anywhere, there is your answer.

Truly a 10/10 stay. The layout is charming with unique and beautifully designed private rooms, but also not overly secluded; you can relax on your own porch and take in the ambience. You don't even need to leave, since the Sunken Fish offers incredible options for meals, snacks, drinks - really whatever you are looking for. Dive stop staff are super helpful arranging and booking whatever excursions you decide on. Jan was so helpful and professional welcoming me as well as making sure all my transportation needs were met.
Nothing major comes to mind! I struggled a little with how to use the in room coffee machine, but that's a very minor thing. I guess perhaps it might be nice to make sure the key card doesn't automatically expire until 12pm or so on check out day - I was given the go-ahead to check out an hour or so after 10am, but then wasn't able to key back into my room so just waited outside which got a bit hot.

What an incredible place. The staff was accommodating and, cheerful and friendly. The food was delicious. Loved the room and the views. We have raved about this stay to so many people. Loved the cocoa tea in the am. Had a wonderful property tour. It was great!
A lot of stairs but we needed the exercise anyway.
