B&B La Veranda - Iseo

Great location with the beautiful veranda being shared between only 2 rooms. It’s a great place to relax and watch the world go by. An elderly couple run it and it feels like you’re staying with grandparents, we arrived around lunchtime and were presented with some toasty focaccia and beer/wine, very thoughtful. The breakfast is nice and left on a tray on the veranda for each room. Wish I spoke more Italian so I could have had a proper conversation with them. Good sized room and comfortable bed.

The toilet is a macerator so can be quite noisy, it also leaked slightly at the base.

The eldery host couple is very helpful. There are two bikes fir guests to use. The location is super good. It’s nice drink morning coffee on the patio watching the village wake up. Complimentary water and refreshments in the fridge for guests use. Only two rooms makes the place cozy.

It was very dirty. Dust and stains everywhere, even dishes were stainy.. In the bathroom previous guests left-over shampoos and soaps, not so fresh. The sheets and towels were clean, but during our 3 night stay they were changed once, however on request we did get new towels. Normally it wouldn’t be a problem, but there is so much dirt that ends up in the bed and it’s not nice. Seems the housekeeping is too demaning for owner’s wife alone. In these reviews someone mentioned about the personal hygiene of the owners and unfortunately that is also a problem. In small premises it is quite unpleseant. The room was according to Booking.com 25m2, but it was much smaller, so this information is not correct.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location is a dream!

The breakfast was a little bland and not that filling. A cereal would of been nice along with the rolls
