Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. Les chambres étaient propres, confortables et bien équipées. Petite cuisine mise à disposition avec cafetière, théière, four micro-ondes et tout ce qu’il faut pour se faire du café ou du thé.

It is a great place to stay, if you want to stay in Zanderij or near the airport, the owner is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are really only intended for sleeping and are modest in size, but the shared space is what makes it an incredible experience, namely the expansive backyard with fruit trees, ornament plants, vegetable garden and a gazebo, and the patio with chairs, benches, coffee and dinning tables and even an exercise bike. Internet access was great, cold and hot water was working. A small kitchen was available to have a cup of tea or coffee if you like. A small selection of additional beverages were also available. You really feel connected to the nature and the country side. It is also well serviced by public and private transport, so if you are on a budget you can also take a bus to the Paramaribo and other cities at a very affordable cost (less than 100 SRD) if you packed lightly.
It is a small rural community so the selection of items would not be the same as in more densely populated cities like Paramaribo. But it is great given the location, facilities and amenities available, namely expansive backyard, large patio, hot and cold water, electricity, internet access and good bus service.
